How to play the dice gift exchange game
What you need
One wrapped gift per player, a budget everyone agreed on, and a die. This page works as the die. Set a phone in the middle of the table or pull it up on the TV.
Round 1: grab a gift
Put all the gifts in the middle. Take turns rolling. Roll a six and you take a gift from the middle. Roll anything else and you pass the die. Once the middle is empty, round 2 starts.
Round 2: swap and steal
Start the timer (10 minutes works well) and keep rolling. The number you roll decides if gifts go left or right, get swapped or get stolen. When time's up, everyone keeps what they're holding and unwraps it.
